Beautiful Fall

Spencer and I went to my house Saturday night and it was so beautiful. I never want to come back to Provo after being at home. Spencer said it perfectly when we were talking on Sunday. The pace of life is so much slower at home. My parents brought us back to Provo yesterday. I was so sad to have to come back. But we had to come back for work and school :(
Spencer is such a hard worker. He works about 30 hours a week and goes to school full time. I am so proud of him. He is doing a lot better at school this semester and it is great. We have lots of fun together when we can.
We are both absolutely loving the fall. The trees are so beautiful in the vibrant colors of yellow and red. We love the cooler weather as well. I love sweater weather! We are doing very well and just plugging on.
Our car keeps having problems. We are just hoping and praying that it will get through the winter. We are hoping to use our tax returns to get a new car. But we will see how that turns out. We are just working hard to keep up with life. We are doing great though! Married life is so wonderful and suits us perfectly. I seem to focus better and be able to get more done. And we have so much fun together all of the time. It is like living with my best friend :)

21 and goin strong!

I am finally 21! I was so excited for my birthday today. I don't usually get too excited for my birthday, but I was for this one. I am really excited for later, because Spencer is surprising me :) I am almost positive that he is going to take me to Tucanos, which I am way excited for because I LOVE that place! I don't know what else he has planned, but I am excited.

Well the week away from Spencer was awful. I loved being home and I got a lot done, but I missed Spencer so bad. I don't ever want to be away from him for more than a day again. I can't wait for us to get married so I can just be with him all the time! I am really excited for the wedding. I can't wait to wear my dress because it is absolutely be-a-u-tiful! I can't wait to spend time with my family before the wedding and for Spencer to get to spend more time with them as well. Plans are coming along very well and I am very excited. We are almost finished with all of the invitations and we have the reception planned and pretty much everything for it. We finally got registered at 2 of the 3 places we wrote on the invitations, haha. We haven't done Wal-Mart yet, but that's ok, we can do that pretty quick ;) We also went tux shopping for Spencer yesterday. We already picked out the tux and everything so we just need to get the ok from his parents then go in and order it for rental. He is going to look so good in a tux :) He has never worn one before, since he never went to prom, so I am excited for him to get the chance to wear one at least once. We were originally just going to have him wear a suit, but after getting my dress we decided my dress was too fancy for him not to wear a tux. Well, he hasn't seen my dress, but my family and I decided that he needed to have a tux. I think we are going to look pretty good together that day!

I am going home again this weekend for a big get-together for my grandma. We are celebrating her 85th birthday so I am going to go see family I haven't seen for awhile and I am way excited! I am sad that I am going to be away from Spencer though :( I am trying to decide if I just want to go up with Nina for the day so I can be with him or if I want to come home with Joe on Sunday, but that would mean two nights away from him. I am pathetic! haha. Anyway. Life is great and I am so excited that I am 21 now! I can't wait to spend time with Spencer later. More later....

Home!

Well! Spencer's chin is healing very nicely, thank goodness. The thing that makes it even funnier is how he got the stitches out. He has a family friend that works in Orem, so we decided to go there so we didn't have to pay another ER bill just to have them take out the stitches. So we went to Brother Jacob's office...a gynecologist's office! haha. So one of the nurses took the stitches out for him. They were all kinda joking around saying he was their first male patient. It was pretty funny :)

I am now at home for a week. Spencer and I drove home late Friday night and we enjoyed the weekend at home together with my parents. Sadly he went back to Provo tonight, but I won't be going back to Provo until Saturday. I am very excited to spend some time at home, but I already miss Spencer. When you are used to spending every evening together, it is very hard to be apart. I will be very happy to go back and see him on Saturday. Things are great other than that! We helped daddy work outside and get the garden planted. Also fencing in the chickens, as they chewed a bunch of his garden down yesterday when they were out. Daddy was not a happy camper with that! haha.

I am excited to spend a week with my parents and at home. I am going to get as much wedding stuff as I can finished so I don't have to worry about it anymore. My goal is to have the invitations ready to be sent out after this week. Woot woot! Well I will keep updated hopefully and will tell all more later!

Never a dull moment!

Well I have to say that life with Spencer never has a dull moment! haha. We had quite the adventure last night when I had to take him to the Emergency Room. He was being all macho and showing us (me and a couple roommates) how he could do clap push-ups. He decided to attempt a behind the back clap push-up, as he used to be able to do that.... apparently not anymore! He came down hard on the carpet and split his chin open. I don't handle things like that well, so I started feeling light-headed. I couldn't look at it to even see if he would need to go to the doctor or not, I had to have his roommates come look! haha. Turned out that he needed stitches so I ran to my place and got my purse and we went to he hospital. Spencer was such a good sport about it all and we were laughing and joking around with the doctor and the nurses there. It was midnight and after while we were there, so there weren't too many people around. We did actually have a bit of fun while we were there. Spencer had to get 6 stitches in his chin and he has a nice rug-burn around it now. He also hit hard enough that it rattled something in his ear so he had blood behind his ear-drum. So the doctor prescribed some antibiotics. Apparently blood in the ear leads to an ear infection, so the doctor wanted to just treat that right now as well. Spencer was complaining more about his ear than his chin! haha. It is a very good thing he has a high pain tolerance. We are going to have to make some soft foods for him to eat for awhile because it hurts his ear to chew hard. He has been so great though. I would definitely not be doing as well he is. He is glad he gets this excuse to not shave now! ;) He went to work today like normal and I have to go to work today too. Mother's Day is very busy at a flower shop! I will be very happy when today is over and I can be with Spencer again so I can spoil him. He is amazing and is just such a good sport about this all. I love him :) I told him last night that I was never going to have a dull moment with him around. And I don't think I ever will!

Anxiously engaged!

Well it has been far too long since I have updated! Spencer and I have been engaged for over a month now. We got engaged March 23rd and I couldn't be happier! We are getting married July 2 in the Logan Temple and having a reception that night from 7-8:30pm at the Crosland residence in Mink Creek. I am so excited and just wish it were tomorrow, haha. We have been having so much fun together and we can't wait to get married.

As far as other things, things are going pretty well. I am a little frustrated with my car as it broke down a couple weeks ago and we put over $600 into it, and now it is broken down again! We hate not having a car as we both have jobs now and it is rather difficult trying to get to work when we don't have proper transportation. The joys of being poor college students! We are very excited to start our life together soon, though.

I have a beautiful wedding dress that I cannot wait to wear, we have all of the decorations for the reception already so now I just need to order the flowers. Things are coming together very well with the wedding and I am so grateful for that!

Spencer started work at APX Alarms a couple weeks ago doing customer support. He has really been enjoying it so far and today was his first day on his own taking calls, so I will be eager to hear how it went. I am still pluggin on at the Flower Patch enjoying arranging flowers. I love my co-workers and have lots of fun with them. I am not so excited about this week, as it s Mother's Day and that means very busy at a floral shop! But I am looking forward to May 15th, as I am going to be going home for a week to have a nice break and to finalize wedding plans. Yay!

So over-all things are going great and I am excited about life! Stressed with money, as always, but right now who isn't, really? I love being with Spencer and I am so excited for us to share our lives together. Less than 2 months now! Woot woot! haha

Fun fun!

Well life is certainly trudging along and I am loving it. There are some stresses and issues, as always, with wedding stuff. I am just waiting for Spencer to propose any day-which it better be VERY soon! haha. His family is giving us issues with choosing a day so we have been a little stressed and frustrated as of late. But when we choose the day (which we already have a pretty good idea of what it is) they will just have to be okay with it! I am very excited and can't wait to be officially engaged, even though we have already started all of the wedding plans. So super fun stuff!
Work is going very well. I absolutely love my job and my co-workers. They are great and have truly become some of my best friends. I tell them pretty much everything about my life and I love it :) Also my family has been so great this past little while. Whenever I am stressed with the wedding date stuff and I call my family, they are completely supportive and have really been helping me out a lot. I am so grateful to have such a loving and supportive family behind me all of the time. I am very excited to spend time with all of them when the wedding comes around. I am very excited for the rest of them to meet Spencer, as a couple of them have not yet! :)

I am also super excited because Spencer and I are going home this weekend to good ol' Mink Creek, Idaho! yay!! We leave Friday at 12 and I absolutely cannot wait! I will update when we are officially engaged ;)

Changes!

Well my life has been all about chance lately it seems like, and it is going to continue to do so! Spencer Johnson came into my life about last August and we have spent pretty much all of our time together since then. He became my best friend, then we dated, then we broke up but pretty much were still dating, haha-story of my life. :) Then he helped make one of my biggest dreams come true! I spent Christmas with his family in England where his parents live. And he took me to IRELAND! My biggest dream that I never thought would come true and he helped make it come true. It was worth every penny and we fell completely in love while we were in England together. Things really clicked the couple weeks before we both went to England and we started to fall head over heels in love. Being in Europe just added to that all! We have spent every minute together since then and I love it and want it to continue on that way. I hope to marry him soon-if he would just propose!

Life is going great, obviously! My job is wonderful and I absolutely love it. I have amazing co-workers that I adore and have become some of my best friends. School is rough but coming on still. I am ready to be done but I am no where near done! haha. I am loving life and trying to enjoy it to the fullest. But more to come later!
